Hynna in Tydalen
Hynna power plant is located in Tydal Municipality in Trøndelag. The power plant utilizes a drop of 135 meters with an annual production of 13.3 GWh, which provides around 600 households with electricity. The power plant has been in operation since 2013.

A horizontal Francis turbine and a vertical Pelton turbine are installed in the power station. As a result, the power plant can benefit from large variations in the water flow. The plant has two intake dams.

Minimum water flow from May 1 – September 30 (l/s): 150
Minimum water flow from October 1 – April 30 (l/s): 50
If the inflow is less than the required minimum water flow, the entire inflow must be passed through. The power plant shall not be in operation in such cases. The power plant must always operate according to the inflow, all changes must occur gradually, and typical start/stop operations should not occur.
