Dvergfossen in Kvinesdal
Dvergfossen power plant is located in Kvinesdal municipality in Agder. By utilizing two Francis turbines, the power plant has an annual production of 31 GWh, and will supply 1,560 households with electricity. The power plant has been in operation since August 2022. The official opening was held on September 13th.2023 by the mayor of the municipality Per Sverre Kvinlaug and landowner Ole Jerdal.

Minimum flow rate May 1 – September 30 (l/s): 700
Minimum flow rate October 1 – April 30 (l/s): 500
If the inflow is less than the required minimum flow, the entire inflow shall be released.
The power plant must always operate according to the inflow, all changes shall occur gradually, and typical start/stop operation shall not take place.
The power plant has a bypass valve that ensures water flow in the event of operational failure. The capacity of the bypass valve is 9 m³/s.
The power plant shall facilitate paddling upon further agreement with a representative for organized activities.
