Brekkefossen power plant utilizes a fall of 89 meters in Storelva. The intake is built at elevation 333 and the power station at elevation 244. The waterway of about 490 meters is located underground south of the river. The average water flow is 1.95 m3/s and the power plant has a maximum drainage capacity of 5.0 m3/s. A minimum water flow of 100 l/s in the period 1st of May until the 30th of September and 70 l/s during the rest of the year has been regulated.
