Lidal in Sogndal
Lidal power plant is located in Sogndal Municipality in Vestland. The plant utilizes the fall in the rivers Kvanndøla and Breiseteelvi. The rivers are located on the east side of the Fjærland fjord and have a shared outlet at the hamlet Lidal. The power plant has been in operation since 2018.

The power plant has been applied for with intake in Kvanndøla and Breiseteelvi at elevation 600 and with underground pipes down to the power station located at sea level inside the mountain by the fjord.
The authorities (the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate) have set a minimum water flow in the summer and during the winter to preserve the environment and landscape.
